1. Need of Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhayan

As you all know a little bit in Indian legal history, how foreign companies came to our country and they made their hold over our country, how the East India Company came inside our country and it completely ruined the social and economic structure of our country, due to which our country had to suffer slavery and sobriety for many years. Self-reliance has come to an end and that is why today we felt the need to improve our industries.

2. Some important aspects necessary for self-reliant India

We all talk about making our country self-reliant but is it just a government initiative or do we all have some role in it, then the answer is yes, we all have an equal hand in making our country self-reliant, together we can make our country completely self-sufficient. We can make our country a completely self-sufficient nation

2.1 Importance of local production

We all saw how the global supply chain can be disrupt in today’s time, we also realized very well in the Covid 19 pandemic how much our country has become dependent on imports only for the sake of essentials and to end this dependency, we have to produce more and more within our borders, The local businesses of the country will have to be supported, this will not only increase the economy of our country but will also generate employment in our country.
At the same time, we also saw in the Covid-19 pandemic how our country developed the Corona vaccine and told the whole world that with what speed our country is moving forward in self-reliance.

2.2. Innovation and entrepreneurship

We want to draw your attention to the fact that technological advancement, startups, innovation in our country are in great need of support, we can create such products within our own country by boosting the startup cluster in our country which can meet the global standards because there is no shortage of talent in the young entrepreneurs of our country, they only need moral support, Social Support and Financial Support.

2.3 Focus on using local resources

We want to explain this point to you with a very common example, like whenever we go to the market to buy goods or take any electronic item, then we find that Chinese products are cheaper than Indian products and all of you will agree with us that 90% of us bring Chinese products to our homes due to being cheap, its means cost to us. And that is why it is very important to reduce the manufacturing cost of the product in our production in India and if it is possible, then by using only local resources, by using local resources, we can easily reduce the manufacturing cost of local production products from agriculture to textile industry in our country and also the quality of the product. And the cheap and better-quality products made in our country are enough to replace cheap Chinese products.

3. Society needs to take some bold steps

Along with all these aspects that we have mentioned in our blog, our society will also have to take some bold steps so that our great self-sufficient nation will be made and it is in our own hands like replacing Google with Bharat Sararch, Google Maps with Map My India, and many multinational brands like Ponds with Patanjali. We have to support the companies of our country so that that country can compete with the companies of the country and the name of our companies of India should be in the whole world and our country starts exporting more than imports.

4. Story of a women- power of local talent

A few years ago, we visited a small village in Gautam buddha Nagar and met a woman named Maanushree. She had a small handicraft business, competing with cheap imported goods. But with faith in her skills, and the support of her community, she took her products online. Today, her business is growing, and her story is the embodiment of Atmanirbhar Bharat — the power of local talent and self-reliance.
India is a nation filled with millions of “Maanushree,” yet for years, we’ve relied heavily on imports. The pandemic revealed the vulnerability of global supply chains, reminding us that it’s time to shift from globalization to recognition — recognition of what we can create within our borders.

Conclusion

So through this blog, we just want to explain to you what is the meaning of self-reliant concept, after all, how the country lags behind in self-reliance while storing golden birds, after all, how the famous country is using foreign spices today, how to worship Navratri and the most religious country is importing incense sticks from abroad, so in this blog we have tried to tell that Where did it start and how can we get independence from it and we want to tell that self-reliant India is not just a government initiative but it is a collective vision which we have to achieve together.
